The common belief that great salespeople are born salespeople is a myth. How much should my salespeople be selling each year?

How long should it take my salespeople to reach $1,000,000 in annual sales?

Are you telling me that someone with little or no experience can sell over $1,000,000 within a year?
Absolutely, because previous experience has little to do with future success and to prove this point just look at the thousands of experienced salespeople, who have been in the industry for years, that are still struggling to make a living. If success depended upon experience, these individuals would all be rich. But no matter how hard they work, if they continue to use the same unproductive selling techniques they’ll get the same poor results, because nothing will change until they do. But my salespeople know how to sell, so why are they struggling?
